Turkish Cooking Class Graduation Ceremony

On April 6th 2013, the Turkish Cultural Center Connecticut Hartford Branch Women’s Committee organized the last cooking class of the fourth of the cooking class sessions. In this final session, the chefs introduced Turkish breakfast/brunch to students and displayed how to cook simit (Turkish sesame bagel), menemen ( scrambled egg with vegetables), mini kostebek cake and many other delicious breakfast alternatives were shared with the students.

Right after the cooking class, a graduation ceremony was held in which students perceived certficates of completion as well as some nice gifts as souvenirs.
