On July 8 TCC kicked off Ramadan programs with traditional Community Iftar Dinner Series. TCC hosted its first Ramadan dinner of the year with friends from around the area and neighbors. The evening began with brief multimedia presentation on what Ramadan is and what it actually means for Muslims all around the world observing the fast. The guests also listened to Ethan, call to prayer, announcing the sunset which typically ends one’s fasting period for the day.
Guest enjoyed various foods from the turkish cuisine and got to know each other better. The evening ended with distribution of gift bags from the Turkish Cultural Center that included souvenirs and turkish delight.
