On Thursday, October 15th, The Turkish Cultural Center West Haven branch held a private cooking class session for a retired group from the Institute for Learning in Retirement in Hamden.
The menu of the day was:
The Rose Borek (Gul Borek)
Steam Kebab (Islim Kebabi) and
Bulgur Pilaf (Bulgur Pilavi)
For some of the participants, Turkish cuisine was a first, though they’ve stated, “…it won’t be the last!”
