Hartford Fall Cooking Class Graduation

On Saturday November 16, 2013 Turkish Cultural Center Hartford Branch held its last Turkish Cooking session. TCC ended the semester by offering the cooking class at one our Chef’s house.

All of our students were excited to gather for the last time. They learned how to make Topkapi Chicken, Stuffed Cabbage Leaves and a dessert named Finger Dessert served with syrup. Topkapi Chicken draw the most attention being the hardest meal on the menu. Our students also enjoyed cookies and traditional tea. We all enjoyed big lunch prepared by the chef and had long chats. These past five session of cooking class allowed our friendship to foster stronger. Our volunteer chefs also prepared a small surprize gift, souvenir plates for our most dear students. We congratulate them for successfully completing this session.

TCC Hartford proudly ended Fall Session and is looking forward to Spring Session. Greatest thanks to our students who showed interest in Turkish cuisine.
