On Saturday, September 26, the Turkish Cultural Center’s West Haven Branch held its first cooking class of the fall session.
The new participants were very excited to learn and experience authentic Turkish food. As demonstration by one of the TCC volunteers, the menu of the first class was:
Yogurt Soup (Yayla Corba),
Stuffed Eggplant (Karniyarik) and
Custard Bread Dessert (Etimek Tatli)
Afterwards, participants tasted the pre-cooked meals while engaging in friendly conversations.
