Celebrating Diversity at the Noah’s Pudding Party

On December 17th 2011 guests at the Noah’s Pudding Party celebrated the diversity in our community at the Turkish Cultural Center Connecticut West Haven branch. The night began with a little presentation and video slideshow about TCCC activities. The guests also learned about the Peace Islands Institute, which was the co-organizer for this event. Then everyone enjoyed the homemade Turkish treats.

Finally there was a presentation about the history and significance of Noah’s Pudding. The guests had the opportunity to taste the Noah’s Pudding and got an informational flyer about this delicious dessert which also included the recipe.

The guests also enjoyed a presentation by Katharine Branning, the author of “Yes I would love another glass of tea”, on Turkish tea (see the video below).
